Bet Station is here to give you the lowdown on another popular sports betting site in America, FOX Bet. In case you have missed it, we have joined all the major sports betting sites to see which are the best. In our sportsbook reviews, we aim to give you an idea of what you can expect if you signed up. Some sports betting services offer more than meets the eye. But others cannot compete with the competition. By the end of this review, you will know all about the FOX Bet Sportsbook, casino, and online poker service.

FOX Bet is only available in four states, Colorado, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Three states allow players to enjoy exciting casino games and make sports bets. However, are the services at FOX Bet as good as the competition? Below, we inspect what FOX Bet has on offer, plus we compare it to the best sports betting sites in America.

FOX Bet Sportsbook

If you are looking to join your first sports betting site, there are a lot of aspects to consider. That is because no two sportsbooks are the same. Some will have a unique collection of markets to bet on, others will give players a choice of promotions. A few online sports betting sites also give players the chance to collect reward points to use towards various prizes.

Straight off the bat, FOX Bet has a lot of positives. It is a good-looking sportsbook that works well on mobile devices. Examining FOX Bet as a whole, they offer players the chance to win real money by entering the FOX Bet Super 6. This is where if you can predict the scores of six random fixtures, you win a share of a cash prize. This service is separate from the sports betting side of FOX Bet, but it could serve as compensation, as the sportsbook is lacking in promotions. Besides the fancy bonuses and features, does FOX Bet have a wide range of sports to bet on?

Sports

Sports betting sites usually vary with the number of events you can bet on. This means you will see a unique list at each sports betting site, plus different selections depending on the state you are in. Mostly, the collection of sports to bet on at FOX Bet stays the same no matter which state you are in. There are 15 sports to bet on at FOX Bet, which is on the lower side compared to rival sites. Sportsbooks like BetRivers can offer 28 sports depending on the state. But the average for most sports betting sites is around 20.

For most of us, this selection isn't a deal breaker. If you are only looking to bet on sports such as football, baseball, and basketball, then any sportsbook will accommodate you. However, if you are a hardcore sports fan and want to bet on events like volleyball, lacrosse, or curling, then FOX Bet is not the best service for you. Below, we have a list of all the sports available at FOX Bet.

FOX Bet Sports List

  • Aussie Rules
  • Baseball
  • Basketball
  • Boxing
  • Cycling
  • Football
  • Golf
  • Handball
  • Hockey
  • MMA
  • Oscars/TV
  • Rugby Union
  • Soccer
  • Table Tennis
  • Tennis

Having more options at a sportsbook is a positive, but that might not always be the case. If you look at other sports betting sites, like WynnBET, there are advantages to offering a condensed collection. For example, you are more likely to find a promotion for the sport you want. Plus, it saves you time not having to browse through dozens of events that you are not interested in.

Live Betting

If you have never tried live betting, think of it as betting on a sport as it's taking place. Some sportsbooks are excellent at providing you with statistics and fancy visuals to keep you up to date with the game. Other sports betting sites give you a wide range of bets to consider, minus the stats. FOX Bet is an outstanding online sportsbook because it gives players both a wide range of bets to browse and some brilliant visuals.

At FOX Bet, you can follow the live game as it transpires thanks to the fancy graphics. These animated visuals update in real-time to show you each play of a live game. FOX Bet also provides us with a humongous range of stats about the sport as it takes place. You can find information about the team’s possession and the chances they created, plus a timeline of events. You can also see a point-by-point breakdown and where each team sits in the standings. If that’s not enough for you, you can also see previous performances and the current form of each team. FOX Bet is ideal for anyone looking for an online sports betting site with a fantastic live betting section.

Odds

When we talk about sportsbooks, one of the most common topics up for discussion is the odds. Unfortunately, there is not one sportsbook that will offer the best odds across every market. Instead, we are looking for a service that consistently offers good odds. DraftKings is the most consistent sportsbook we have seen, so it makes sense to compare it to FOX Bet.

We made a six-leg parlay across three major sports, including the NFL, NBA, and soccer. On two occasions, FOX Bet offered better odds than DraftKings. Both these occasions were on spreads or over under bets. In the NBA game between the Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic, DraftKings offered a -8 spread and -110 for the odds. FOX Bet offered -7.5 for the Celtics and the odds were -105. However, on the four other wagers, DraftKings offered greater odds. Sometimes the gap between the two was small, but there was a sizeable gap on a couple of occasions. FOX Bet offered +155 for the Rockets to beat the Timberwolves, but DraftKings had a much better-paying +180.

The result is, a ten-dollar bet on DraftKings would return $963.82 for a six-leg parlay. The same parlay at FOX Bet was only worth $835.78. What does this tell us? Overall, DraftKings is a much better sportsbook for consistent odds. However, there are a few occasions where FOX Bet offers better value. Especially in close events where you want to bet on the spread or the total number of points scored.

FOX Bet Casino

It’s not uncommon for a sports betting site to offer casino games in select states. States like New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania allow sports betting and casino gaming from the comfort of your own home. Many of these casinos are underwhelming, with only a couple hundred games to choose from. However, there are several online casinos with an outrageous collection of games.

FOX Bet sits in the middle when compared to most, as it has more games than your average casino. It falls short of the best options, such as BetMGM and BetRivers, but that is to be expected. BetMGM has a slot library with over 2,500 games to consider, and BetRivers has around 1,200. FOX Bet only has 400 slots to choose from, but that is significantly more than you will find at PointsBet.

Looking at the other sections of the casino reveals a lighter selection elsewhere. There is a mix of live games and table games, but not as many as you will find at rival online casinos. They have roulette, blackjack, and poker tables, but not enough to satisfy avid players.

Slots

FOX-Bet-Casino-min.png

As we have mentioned, there are over 400 slots at FOX Bet in New Jersey, but there is a drop-off compared to other states. There are less than 300 slots in Michigan and Pennsylvania, over 100 less than what you would find in NJ. However, even with fewer slots in other states, the selection at FOX Bet is still above average.

One of the biggest areas we look for at an online casino is variety. Having normal slots, Megaways, and games with a progressive jackpot is to be expected from any online casino. FOX Bet is a little underwhelming in this area. The casino has fewer than ten Megaways slots for you to enjoy and only three jackpot slots. This is an area FOX Bet could easily fix by adding some more unique games. Yet, it lacks the library to compete with the best online casinos.

To make up for the lack of progressive jackpots, FOX Bet has all the big-name games you would expect. They have some of the most popular slots in America, such as Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst, and Bonanza Megaways. They also have a good mix of games from the most successful developers like NetEnt. Below are some of the best slots on offer at the FOX Bet casino.

Best Slots at FOX Bet

  • Mercy of the Gods
  • Divine Fortune
  • Starburst
  • Blood Suckers
  • Bonanza Megaways
  • Legacy of Dead
  • Gorilla Kingdom
  • The Legend of Shangri-La Cluster Pays
  • Jumanji
  • Hypernova Megaways

As we have mentioned, there is an outstanding collection of online slots available to members of FOX Bet. However, if you compare this online casino to the best we have seen, it is lacking in some areas. Having access to 400 slots is great, but there needs to be some variety, such as adding Slingo games.

Table Games

If slots are not your favorite type of casino game, perhaps table games are. The selection of table games at FOX Bet is not as extensive as the slots. You have a small choice regarding the number of games, resulting in less variety. If table games are important to you, there might not be enough at FOX Bet to keep you entertained.

If you look at a casino like WynnBET, they have traditional table games like blackjack and roulette. To spice up this collection, they offer players game variations, such as 100/1 Roulette or Multihand Surrender Blackjack. These variants add a bit of excitement and flair to your gaming experience. That does not mean there are no fun variants to enjoy at FOX Bet, but the collection is smaller. They provide us with a good mix of blackjack tables and poker games, but they don’t have many types of roulette. Meaning you are missing out on titles such as American, French, or double ball roulette.

If table games are the dominant type of casino game you enjoy, then FOX Bet is a bit of a letdown. Given how many slots the casino has, you would assume there would be a great mixture of table games. However, that is not the case. If you need a casino with more choices, then check out BetMGM or BetRivers.

Best FOX Bet Table Games

  • Heads Up Hold'Em
  • Premium Blackjack
  • European Roulette
  • Atlantic City Blackjack
  • European Blackjack
  • Deuces Wild
  • Jacks or Better
  • Double Bonus
  • Joker Poker
  • Double Double Bonus

Live Casino Games

Fortunately for fans of live casino games, there is a great selection at FOX Bet. They have unique live casino games from Evolution Gaming. Including Lightning Roulette, Dream Catcher, and Craps. Plus, FOX Bet has multiplayer versions of Blackjack, Roulette, and poker games like Heads up Hold’Em. If you visit almost any online casino with live games, they all have similar titles from Evolution Gaming. To stand out, we want to see more than just these live games, which FOX Bet has.

For those of you who have never tried an Evolution Gaming title, what makes them so good? These live casino games have additional bonuses and features to help make gameplay more exciting. Take roulette as an example. You can play Lightning Roulette, where each round between one and five numbers gets an additional multiplier. If you bet on a number and it lands, you could have your stake multiplied up to 500 times. There is a similar system for blackjack, where beating the dealer gives you a certain multiplier for your next hand. Both these games bring even more excitement and hopefully greater rewards.

Best Live Games

  • Three Card Poker
  • Ultimate Texas Hold'Em
  • Lightning Roulette
  • Infinite Blackjack
  • Auto Roulette
  • Dragon Tiger
  • Football Studio
  • Baccarat
  • Craps
  • Blackjack

Almost every casino has a similar collection of live games to choose from, so you can’t really pick a bad one. Whether you are looking for Evolution Gaming or some unique titles, most casinos have something for you. FOX Bet is still a good option for live gamers, especially since it has a variety to choose from.

FOX Bet Poker

It is not uncommon for a sports betting site to offer additional features, such as an online casino. However, a select few sportsbooks also give members access to live and exciting poker tournaments. Well, FOX Bet is one of the few online sports betting sites with an excellent online poker service.

There are three main types of tournaments at FOX Bet, which has a partnership with PokerStars. They have Major Tournaments, Annual Series, and Daily Tournaments. There are lots of different tournaments, including games with guaranteed prize pools, tables with much quicker blinds, or a tournament where they randomly choose the size of the prize. If you are new to online poker or want to know exactly what type of games you can enjoy at FOX Bet, then check out the table below. This is where you can find crucial details about every type of daily tournament before you sign up.

FOX Bet Banking Options

No matter which sports betting site you join, you must make sure they support your preferred payment method. You do not want to end up at a site where the only payment methods available are inconvenient. Below, we have detailed tables explaining all the deposit and withdrawal methods available to FOX Bet players.

Deposit Methods

When we are looking at a sportsbook's deposit methods, we want to find the service with the most options. The more options a sportsbook has, the more likely they are to cater to everyone’s needs. At FOX Bet, they have lots of different methods for you to deposit your funds, depending on the state you are in. Having multiple ways for players to deposit their funds is excellent, however, not all the methods listed below are available in every state.

The deposit methods at FOX Bet include two types of credit or debit cards, both PayPal and Skrill, plus various methods where you can use cash. You can visit a partnering casino and deposit cash, or a convenience store and use the PayNearMe service. Having multiple cash and digital payment methods is a fantastic bonus.

Withdrawal Methods

If you have never joined a sports betting site, there is one aspect to remember. There are always fewer ways to withdraw your cash than there are ways to deposit it. Mainly this is a security reason, but certain services are for paying only. Out of the various deposit methods available at FOX Bet, only a handful have withdrawal support. Make sure at least one method below is convenient to you before you sign up.

Remember, each state will have different options for withdrawals. Some will not support cash withdrawals and others have tight restrictions over digital payments. For example, the PokerStars Play+ Card is only available in New Jersey. We have tried to make this clear in our table, but if you are unsure, contact the FOX Bet support team.

FOX Bet Bonus Offers

If you are a fan of promotions, does FOX Bet have enough to satisfy you? The answer is not really. That is because the sportsbook does not introduce promotions on a consistent enough basis. Meaning you could go a few weeks before you see a sportsbook promo. It does not mean there is nothing for dedicated players, but it means you have to work for it.

The sports betting side of FOX Bet has a few other features to enjoy. The sportsbook is fantastic for boosted bets and they offer players unique weekly challenges. Members can opt-in for challenges that are personalized for them. Completing these challenges will give you exciting rewards, such as free bets to use on any sporting event. Overall, we like the idea of challenges, but it means you have to spend your cash to get freebies.

If you are more interested in the casino, there are more bonuses to enjoy. They offer players blackjack insurance worth $25 every day, plus the chance to win up to $500 casino credit daily. There are various tournaments and other promos offered by PokerStars for any player to claim as well. The casino is well-equipped for promotions, but the sportsbook is a little lacking.

How to Claim?

FOX-Bet-Log-In.PNG

Claiming a promotion at FOX Bet is easy. All you have to do is visit the promotions page and opt-in to any bonus you like the look of. Alternatively, if you opt into the weekly challenges, you can collect promos from completing various tasks. You can check your progress throughout the week to see if you are close to collecting a prize. However, if this is your first time signing up for a sportsbook, all of this may sound alien. Below, we outline everything you need to do to create a valid FOX Bet account.

Step 1

The first step at any major sports betting site is to visit the website or mobile app and click join. From here, enter a valid email, choose a username, and enter a password. The password at FOX Bet must be at least eight characters long and starts with a letter. You cannot use your username in the password and it also must contain at least one number.

Step 2

The second step is where you have to agree to the various terms and conditions, plus you can decide whether to opt-in for marketing promotions. If you want to receive any free bets or other goodies, we recommend opting in for email or mobile communications.

Step 3

After you have agreed to the fine print, you must verify your account. They will ask for a valid mobile number to enable two-factor authentication. Once you enter your mobile number, you will have two minutes to enter the code before it expires. After you have completed this step, you can deposit funds into your FOX Bet account.

Make sure you check the welcome offer before you make a deposit, to not miss out on the bonus. To activate the bonus, you must opt in for the welcome offer. Depending on the state you are in, the welcome bonus is worth up to $50 if your first wager loses. You must place the bet on any sport with odds worth -200 or greater within seven days of creating your account.

FOX Bet Loyalty Program

The loyalty system at FOX Bet is a little different from what you will find at other sports betting sites. FOX Bet claims the rewards are personalized to suit the activities you enjoy. Meaning you won’t end up with prizes that you have no intention of using. They are based on your wagering activity and the games you play.

Whatever casino game or sports you bet on, you earn points towards your progress bar. Each time you fill your bar, they reward you with a chest. There are six levels to the chests and they can have various rewards inside. The rewards include StarsCoins, which you can use in the rewards store, plus free bets to use at the sportsbook or casino.

StarsCoins are the currency of choice for the rewards store. Here you can redeem various prizes, some of which are very exciting. You can use them to shop at the digital store, where you can claim electronics, casino-related items, or high-end clothing. Or, you can use your coins for cash with the exchange rate sitting at $25 per 2,500 coins. You can also convert your StarCoins into tickets, allowing you to enter poker tournaments for free. Last, the StarCoins can also help you win seats in PokerStars Live events taking place all over the world.

Most sports betting sites have a reward system, but there are none quite like this. You never know what prize you will get from the chests, and if you get enough currency, you can go shopping or re-invest it at the sportsbook or casino.

Hot to earn Reward Points

Earning rewards points at FOX Bet is straightforward. Thankfully, FOX Bet clearly outlines exactly how many points you earn per dollar, depending on the game or bet you make. This may not sound important, but at WynnBET, they do not say exactly how many points you earn per bet and which games earn the most points. Instead, it requires guesswork or prolonged play to understand how they assign loyalty points. In the list below, we have all the information you need to see the ratio of money spent to points earned. This includes sports betting, casino games, and online poker.

  • Normal Sports Bets: 1.7 reward points per $1 wager.
  • Parlay Bets: 4.7 reward points per $1.
  • Poker: 100 reward points per $1 paid in cash games or tournament fees.
  • Slots, Table Games, Live Games, and Video Poker:  Different ratios depending on RTP. The lower the RTP the more points you get per dollar.

Remember, loyalty points are a bonus that you will achieve, eventually. You do not need to spend more than you are comfortable with just to claim rewards. FOX Bet tailors rewards to you and how much you bet, hopefully making your experience even more enjoyable. The reward system is just a bonus, not something to aim for.

FOX Bet User Interface

Now that we have discussed the key features you will find at FOX Bet, it’s time to dive into what the service is like to use. Having joined all the major sports betting sites in America, we can’t help but compare the best sportsbooks for usability, design, and mobile-friendliness. It only makes sense to see how FOX Bet fares against the best sports betting sites.

If we are considering first impressions, FOX Bet looks a little cluttered. With bars at the top and below the promos, it's difficult to know where you will find what you are looking for. However, after the initial appearance, the service has everything you would expect. There are large identifiable logos and team initials on the wagers, plus it is clear which bet is the spread, moneyline, and over under without having to scroll back to the top. In small text, they have the name of both teams, the time the game starts, and the date; all useful information.

If you are unsure what to bet on or are looking for another leg for your parlay, they have a trending bets section. Whether these are actual bets the community is placing or just sportsbook recommendations does not matter. What this section provides is a little inspiration that you may overlook. There are bets from all different sports and leagues across the world. It can be extremely insightful to see what others are betting on, especially if you are trying to build a parlay.

Navigation

Being able to navigate a sportsbook is an important feature we look out for. Whether you are a veteran sports better or this is your first time, you don’t want to spend ages looking for certain wagers or sports. At FOX Bet, they have a dedicated tab at the bottom, to access your bet slip or the entire list of sports available. You can also jump straight to the promotions, live sports, or the most popular sports this week.

Once you click on a sport to bet on, they have the major markets first, plus any boosted bets. Underneath that section, they have the same game parlay feature, where you can narrow your search down by searching for specific terms or filtering by the size of the odds. You can continue scrolling through all the popular bets, or you can use the tabs at the top to browse specific wagers, such as player props. Overall, the system at FOX Bet is not new or revolutionary, but it is functional for most players. If this was your first sportsbook, you could become proficient in no time.

Technology

When we talk about technology, we are looking for aspects or features that make FOX Bet unique. This includes the unusual loyalty program, but are there any other features worth shouting about? At the top of the homepage is a section dedicated to parlays. These are parlays created by FOX Bet for various sports taking place over the next week. They have a mix of same game parlays and parlays for certain events, such as NBA evening games or NFL underdogs.

These bets might not be perfect for you, but they may offer some inspiration. They have soccer parlays with favorites to win over the weekend, favorites to win the next tennis major, and various bets for the NBA late games. You might not grab one of these bets directly, but they could help you create a winning bet of your own.

FOX Bet Mobile App

FOX-Bet-Mobile.png

If you are considering joining FOX Bet, then your primary source of sports betting could be your mobile device. Whether you are going to play on a smartphone or tablet, we test all major sportsbooks to see how functional they are. The best mobile sportsbooks we have tried include FanDuel and Caesars. How does FOX Bet compare to the best?

If you are looking for the easiest mobile sportsbook to use, FOX Bet is certainly up there. You can find information about teams, ideas for bets, and lots of boosted wagers at FOX Bet. If you are curious about what people are betting on, this information could help you make educated bets on sporting events. We are not saying that if you sign up for FOX Bet, you will win wagers. But what we are saying is FOX Bet provides all players with some wonderful insights before you place a wager. How you use this information is up to you, but it's great to see it.

If we take a more direct comparison to other mobile-friendly sportsbooks, you will see a lack of certain features. BetRivers and Barstool have wonderful sliders to help you adjust spreads or total bets without having to browse dozens of options. FOX Bet does not have this exact feature, but it is still a great service. If you are new, it’s a great stepping stone in teaching you how to use stats and trends to your advantage. If you already have experience, there are a lot of boosted bets and parlay ideas to help make your week more interesting.

Mobile Usability

Looking at the home page, FOX Bet prioritizes popular games first, which can be a positive. Instead of loading the live or next tennis games taking place all over the globe, they show the major sports next taking place. That means you can instantly look at the NFL, NBA, and various other major sports occurring over the next week. If you want to see the games taking place right now, you can click on the live tab instead.

When you click on a game that has not yet taken place, there is a lot to take in. They give you some nice details about how long before it starts, the venue where the game is taking place, plus some stats such as the head-to-head performances. Once again, the popular bets come first with everything else tucked away into neat little sections. It means, when you are browsing props, you can just look at a different player or team proposition bets. None of this is new to the world of online sports betting, but FOX Bet provides a fantastic mobile experience.

FOX Bet Availability

At the moment, FOX Bet is only available in four states. Compared to its closest competition, FOX Bet is well behind in the number of states it's available in. DraftKings is now taking sports bets from 17 states with rival sites like FanDuel sitting close to that number. If FOX Bet wants to compete with the best, it must spread further across America.

Laws and rule changes occur all the time regarding sports betting in America, as each state can make its own decisions. At the beginning of 2023, Ohio became the latest state to legalize sports betting. Only time will tell which state will be the next to launch.

FOX Bet Customer Services

We like to test out the customer service just in case anything goes wrong. You always want to join the sports betting site with an active support system. That way, you know you can contact somebody in case something goes wrong. At FOX Bet, they reserve the live chat for members only. This has its positives and negatives. It stops the chat from being clogged with people who are not members, but it means you have to sign up to ask a question.

  • Live Chat: 24/7 but members only
  • Email: support@foxbet.com
  • Phone: N/A
  • Support Languages: English
  • Twitter: @FOXBetCare

The live chat at FOX Bet was quite good. We did not have to wait long to speak to a real person. That is to be expected when there are only four supported states for the sportsbook, so we will see if they maintain this support if they expand the service. However, the person trying to help us was patient and had reasonably good English. It is not the best support system in the world, but not a bad one.

FOX Bet Comparison

Now that we are towards the end of the FOX Bet review, we can look overall how it compares to the competition. There are a lot of positives to mention when talking about FOX Bet. It has an interesting loyalty program, a decent-sized casino, and it offers access to exciting online poker tournaments. It does not have the largest library of sports or the most varied selection of bets. But it has several features to help you make an educated bet.

FOX Bet certainly falls short when compared to the likes of FanDuel and DraftKings. It does not have as many sports to bet on and it is not as widely available. However, if you are in one of the four states FOX Bet operates in, you have a hard choice to make. On the one hand, you have tried-and-true sportsbooks that everybody loves nationwide. Or, you have smaller sports betting sites that are excellent in their own right. With FOX Bet, we don’t think many players will miss out if they join here.

FOX Bet Verdict

FOX Bet is certainly better than a lot of the competition out there. Yet, it does not do enough to challenge the established big names in sports betting. We like it has tried to be a little different from the loyalty program, even though it can lead to disappointment.
